MANNA CEA and HDC Resort have signed a mutual business agreement (MOU) to jointly develop an eco-friendly turf cultivation system. Through this agreement ceremony, they will collaboratively establish a smart farm system to maintain high-quality course turf even in the rapidly changing era of abnormal climate.

The Kentucky bluegrass planted on the course is a deep green, year-round grass known for its quick recovery, soft hitting feel, and reduced wrist strain. However, due to global warming and the gradual shift to a subtropical climate, it faces vulnerabilities during the hot and humid summer months, making growth difficult.

To address these issues, they plan to develop and introduce an eco-friendly indoor cultivation method that links systems such as atmospheric environment control for turf varieties, carbon dioxide concentration control, and solar spectrum-based light environment creation. This approach minimizes water usage while maximizing production efficiency.
